i laffed when i read what i wrote from 3 years ago....haha....while it is true that a lot of folks were duped into thinking that they were buying the coin op version (a deliberate ploy by the software company no doubt.....it was the ONLY game to not feature screenshots on the box) I want to take back what i said about trashy top-down platformer, etc...the game itself is cool, and if you were a turtles fan (like i was) then in the end it didnt really matter that it wasnt the coin op game cos it was still a turtles game.....so i'll make my peace with this game and give it its dues....but i still to this day dont appreciate being mislead by the packaging....low blow.

This was the first game I had for my ST & what a cracker, hours of fun! It took me a while to operate the van but it was worthwhile. Has anyone found the alternate ending? If you follow the sewer numbers on level 5 apparently you can fight Krang!

Hey, if anyone wants those codes, i've got the boxed game still. Though your these posts were two years ago and i'll be in awe if anyone ever reads this message. Amazing game! The music is totally excellent, and the underwater, bombs-diffusing stage tense.

Just like Stevie B, bought this game on false pretences, believing that this was the arcade version. Although i thought it was still cool, espcially when you got do drive the turtle van around.... :)
bazfan wrote ...2004-01-15 08:10:59
why is there no reference to the arcade version on this site, it was far better than this god awful crap. tmht2 the arcade game was fun for a while, "duh who put the lights out"

I played this game for several hours when it was released, pure fun and good memory, highly recommanded !!
Stevie B wrote ...2003-02-13 03:52:45
never played this on the st but did have it on speccy...found it ridiculously easy and completed it within the first few days of buying....was also disapointed with the packaging, it was misleading....there I was thinking I was buying the coin-op version and ended up buying some trashy top-down platform game!!! There were no screenshots on the box....bizarre!!

Straight conversion of the NES game. Tho it never had the playability of the nintendo version. Music is a reasonable conversion. If you want to play this game grab the NES version.
