I remember this version as being superior to the Amiga Game. A little frustrating but the control method was unique. A good development of controls. One to be remembered.

Occasional bug caused him to ignore stairs and run off the screen but fantastic gameplay though its now pushing 20 years. The fact that it was 1 hit and youre gone was a bit annoying though 8.5/10

I have very good memories about this game, the graphics and sound were amazing, I also remember that there was a cheat, if you were attacked by an enemy, you have to do as if you pick something and that becomes you invulnerable until you moves again

It's the first game I ever played on my Atari, so it's quite a special one... It was bugged as hell (often had to try ten times before the game could work, even though I had the original!), and very hard... But it also was very beautiful and fun to play.

I have a few memories of this game. Besides playing the one game Barbarian where you fight each other, I tried out this game for the first time. The first time I saw this version of Barbarian by Psygnosis, I saw it had good graphics but it was very hard for me. I remember it so much and I wasn't able to get very far. I think my brother was able to do it but not me. The Psygnosis version of Barbarian can be found on Automation compact disk 64.

I always seem to remember Psygnosis could make fantastic looking games but most (if not all) played like a sack of poo! Like Shadow of the beast 1 & 2 etc

Great Game

Very strange interface, nice graphics and some weird bugs. I did manage to finish it, but it felt more like an obstacle course than an adventure or platform game. My favourite detail was the "run away" button, that made your character drop everything and run away screaming in the opposite direction.

Overwhelmed by the grafix, disappointed by the game. That's what it is...
