Yay! Nethack! Doesn't matter which platform it's on, the game design is so simple (even though the possibilities are numerous) it's hard to screw it up...

What can I say. This is the best game of all time period end of discussion. I spent 12 hours a day for 3 months at one point on this! What other game can keep you discovering new things for 2-3 years? No game, that's what game. Morph into a rock monster and eat rings, polymorph piles of armor, get touched by a master lich (shhh don't tell anyone), train your cat to steal items from the shops, dig gems out of walls in the gnomish mines, travel back in time on the primitive level, find vlad the impaler in a little tower at the bottom of hell, sacrifice corpses on an altar, eat corpses, can corpse meat, feed corpses to your dog. Just like real life!

feels very much like original ST-Hack but with more graphics and menu, colour and monochroom versions available. I never got any further than level 9, and there are rumour about level 28! Guess I still got a long way to go!
