For plain old early 80's arcade feel in a game, this takes the cake. The ST never felt more like an old arcade game than this. Jeff Minter is God, or Satan, or something.

Defender II can be found on Pompey Pirates compact disk 68, Special FX compact disk 4, Bad Brew Crew compact disk 35 and Automation compact disk 412.

looking back (..or below (below))... it seems bazfan may've missed the plot somewhat.. they are, indeed, great shoot-em-ups and so are many more. but they weren't defender II, were they?

These three games are some of the best shootem'ups ever created. the first being darious gaiden, the second being r-type and trhe 3rd being blood money, also worth noting is gradious and salamander and also swiv
