never played this, altho i gotta say, the dashboard/cockpit design looks remarkably similar to Lombard RAC Rally. Might have to give this a blast and get back to yer.
I just played this for the first time, it came bundled with a game called Lorna in a discovery pack compilation. Lorna is a pretty good game, Paris Dakar is pretty weak. One funny thing though, after I drove off road for 5 minutes (its impossible to stay on the road due to terrible touchy controls) plowing into cattle skulls and rocks, the game suddenly gave me an unexpected intermission with a topless lady dancing! It was unexpected, and a bit out of place in a driving game, but it gave me a good laugh. I guess these days youd have to put an over 17 rating sticker on the game box.
