i can sum this up in one word: classic it was overtaken by some better looking games in its genre a few years later, but this is the first really popular top down racer and will always be the yardstick by which others are judged.

i was seriously addicted to this game when i was younger and i was so proud to own a copy, because they had it in the local arcade and all my friends were yellous...

Played this on the Speccy first (very good!) and then on to the ST. My friends and I used to have competitions to bet each others scores and knock as many off the score board as possible (it saved it!!) - Superb!

One of those "arcade perfection" moments in ST gaming, up there with Gauntlet II. Just like the original (sans steering wheel), awesome.

I'll just agree with everyone else: a true classic. In the 4th grade (swedish elementary, 10 or 11 years old) me and 2 friends(Cheers Norrman and Larsson!) played this every morning before we went to school. The one and only thing that made me get up early in the morning. To bad I had to play with the keyboard every time.

Man this game was so good that when it came out on the Play Station with a few other games (smash TV and Rampage among them) i just had to buy it (to bad it does not work on my PS2)

This one is boring if you play it alone. But get 2 friends and everyone can race its own car. Then it'll turn into the funniest and addictive racer for the ST.

Nothing to add here, except to get some friends over and play it with up to four players (if your PC/emulator allows it). Hours of fun are guaranteed.

Perhaps one of the best racers on the ST. Superb arcade conversion that has the ability to accomodate up to 3 players. Fantastic sense of speed, a logical learning curve and superb power ups make this a blast for ST freaks of all ages.
