I liked this one back in the day, but it was a lot more difficult than the original Mercenary and the countdown clock always bothered me. I somehow always managed to leave the atmosphere, then the clock would go turbo and the comet would smash the planet. :-Z

Am I going crazy?! I remembered the planet being red, not green. Was that another similar game?

I remmeber this game with fondness. One way to save both planet and comet, if U were early enough, then U could blow up the inner most planet and divert the comet as it rounded the sun. The best thing in the game was a building laballed Author's house, this had a devicelabelled Author's computer, you could alter game paarmeters on it, scared me s***less when I stretched the perspective way out. Also the Author's chair was the fastest ship in the game.

This was one of the most impressive and immersive titles at the time. I spent weeks and weeks playing this gem. I will never forget the pure joy that I experienced when I stumbled upon the anti-gravity generator and could then pick up my car and carry it around. Pure genius!! There was so much I'm sure that I didn't see half of it.

I have to agree with all thats been said below (well mostly all!). It was great 3D for its time and masses of stuff to explore and see. So much so that I never really bothered to play the game since I kinda got lost after a while. So I set up my own apartment and furnished it with all the objects I could find... boy was the game slow then! :) A great game and if you like mapping out stuff and puzzle solving then you will love this.

One of he all time classics in my opinion, I remember playing it for hours at a time, and although it wasn't too hard to complete it didn't matter as once your mission was complete you could go off and enjoy yourself!!! Surely has to be updated and released again as it was superb and way ahead of its time!

Never played this one until ST emulation became widespread - I seem to remember it was an incredibly difficult title to get hold of at the time. Still extremely impressive. Real pity the PC version was canned.

An aweseome game, but incredibly diffciult to complete. I remeber getting so far and then the subtle hints disappeared!!!! But u can still have lots of fun roaming around doing nothing. This is surely a game ripe for a next-gen update.

yeah! a really outstanding game!! i can't imagine anyone can't remember this game! anyway, a comet will collide with eris within some days. what you have is a whole planetary system, lots of different vehicles to use (from some 2cv to spaceships) lots of citymaps to draw and lots of riddles to solve! it is not even said that the comet must necessarily be destroyed, but i never found another way. and what are the coordinates of the correct pyramid on that strange planet?! well, this is one of the very few games that i have solved anyway without cheating but it took weeks. weeks of pure pleasure!
